Vinylene Carbonate (VC)

Sales Vinylene Carbonate (VC)

Vinyl carbonate is a colorless transparent liquid. It is an important intermediate in the synthesis of drugs, plant protectants, resin paints, and a variety of other chemicals. It also can be used as an film forming additive in lithium-ion battery electrolytes, and an overcharge protection additive for lithium- ion batteries.

UsesVinyl carbonate is a new type of film forming additive and overcharge protection additive for lithium- ion batteries. It can form solid electrolyte interface film (SEI film) by electrochemical reaction on the negative electrode surface during the initial charge and discharge of lithium-ion batteries, and effectively inhibit the embedding of solvent molecules. Vinyl carbonate has good performance at high and low temperature and excellent anti-bloating function, which can improve the capacity and cycle life of the lithium-ion battery. In addition, Vinyl carbonate can also be used as a monomer for the preparation of polyvinyl carbonate.

StorageThis product should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated place. Keep away from heat and fire source. Avoid direct light irradiation. Avoid contact with oxide, reducing agent, acids and bases.

PackingThis product is packed in a stainless steel drum with quick joints and filled with nitrogen (nitrogen pressure 0.11-0.13mpa). Net weight 20kg or 200kg per drum, or use 5kg high-density polyethylene bottle with vacuumed aluminum foil bag.
