Characteristics:Lithium Hexafluorophosphate is a white crystal or powder. It has strong deliquescence, easily soluble in water, also soluble in low concentration methanol, ethanol, propyl alcohol, acetone, carbonate and other organic solvents. Relative density: 1.50g/cm3, Melting point: 200℃. It is easy to decompose when exposed to air or heated. In the air, it rapidly decomposes due to the action of water vapor, releasing PF5 and white smoke, which is corrosive to the eyes, skin and especially the lungs.
Uses:Lithium Hexafluorophosphate is the most commonly used lithium salt in the current market. It has excellent ionic conductivity and electrochemical stability. (Lithium-ion battery is mainly composed of cathode material, anode material, electrolyte and separator, among which electrolyte is divided into liquid and polymer, the market share is about 90% and 10% respectively, liquid electrolyte is usually prepared by lithium salt, high purity organic solvent and additives under certain conditions and in a certain proportion, among which the mass proportion of lithium salt in the electrolyte is about 1:7, that is, 1 ton of lithium salt (Lithium Hexafluorophosphate as an example) can be provided with 7 tons of electrolyte, so it is the most important component of lithium-ion battery electrolyte.)
Storage:This product should be stored in a dry, cool and ventilated place. The recommended storage temperature is 10℃~25℃. The shelf life is 6 months.
Packing:The product should be packed in a stainless steel container with quick connections (and protected by high purity nitrogen.) Net weight 150kg/drum, sample can be packed in 1kg or 2kg stainless steel bottle.
