KC92 cold shrink tube is designed for weatherproofing protection on various kinds of cable connections or joints in BTS site. Such as connection between jumper cable and connector (7/16 DIN, N type or 4.3-10,Fiber connector) on wireless equipment (RRU, Antenna and Microwave), and joint between feeder and jumper cable. Comparing with tape sealing protection, KC92 cold shrink tube’s installation is much shorter (15-30 seconds), convenient installation, uniform appearance for acceptance.
Applications
1. It is widely used for waterproof seal in coaxial cables on telecommunication base stations, N-type connector, 1/2 jumper, Din head and 1/2 jumper connector;
2.It can be used as a waterproof seal for cable television connector;
3. It can be used as a waterproof seal for connecting wires and cables;
4.Insulation seal for other types of connection;

Installation instruction
Step 1 |
1. Put jumper cable inside of the tube, before connectjumper to equipment 2. Arrow symbol will be direction of pulling strip, which usually should be downward 3. NOTE: While using tape toexpand the size of 1/2” jumper, wrap the tape on 1/2” jumper 10 rolls at first. |
Step 2 |
1. Hold the tube, pull stripdownward, and rolling,slowly by slowly 2. Whenpull the white strip till the plastic inner tube is horizontal alignment of the silicone rubber tube, hold cold shrink tube up and attached to bottom of connector on equipment, ensure the tube cover whole metal part of the connector. 3. Hold tube tightly to prevent tube moving, keep pulling strip downward, round and round, till all strip out.
