Chemical Properties
Crosile® 5246 Silane is characterized by a random distribution of linear and cyclic Olig siloxanes, which meet the OECD polymer definition. Its low volatility and viscosity make compounding easy.
Crosile® 5246 Silane produces a significant reduction in by-products (VOCs) and a corresponding reduction in odor levels during application.

Application
Crosile® 5246 Diaminofunctional Silane Oligomer by Falcone Specialities is a diaminofunctional silane oligomer.
Used as adhesion promoter, e.g. modified silicone sealants, photovoltaic adhesives.
Shows very good wetting on substrates and forms weather and moisture resistant bonds to difficult-to-bond substrates. Improve elongation and modulus.
Used in adhesives and sealants to improve the adhesion of amino-reactive resins such as silicone (RTV), two-part polyurethane, salivated polyurethane, MS polymer, two-part epoxy resin to inorganic surfaces, plastic surfaces.
