Technical features of hydrogen generation system

• 1 Modular electrolyser with bipolar pressurization technology, special design and patented material to be used so no leakage happened on the electrolyzer during its operation and long operational life time without any maintenance;
• 2 In the compact electrolyzer, non-asbestos patented material to be used as membrane, pure nickel mesh to be used cathode and anode, patented material as gasket for sealing, carbon-steel with pure nickel plating a bipolar plate, accurate design for the sealing structure, electrolyzer to be guaranteed for at least five years with free maintenance and environment-friendly.
• 3 Special activation to be conducted on cathode in the electrolyzer to ensure the high efficiency of water electrolysis with low power consumption, saving power energy for the customer;
• 4 One number of electrolyzer is composed of 336 cells with DC voltage max. 338V, rated DC current 13400A to guarantee the H2 gas flow 1000NCMH and O2 flow 500NCMH; (the detailed parameters are to be confirmed during the detailed engineering design. )
• 5 Chemical KOH (25-30 % by concentration) to be used as additive in electrolyte to increase the electrical conductivity, but no consumption of chemical during normal operation, so no need to supplement into the electrolyte after first-start up.
• 6 Special technology with patent to design the hydrogen generator and make the generator be operated under pressure 1.5MPa (g) without any gas compressor to be used. So the gas output from the generator is pressurized with 1.5MPa (g), to improve the reliability of generator and saving the capital cost for the customer, in case more pressure is required by customer and hydrogen compressor has to be used to
• increase the pressure.
• 7 All process valves on main processing lines (H2 gas line, O2 gas line and lye circulation lines) are to be imported from Modentic, Taiwan China, which is found with best quality around world for water electrolysis.
• 8 The material of all process pressure vessels other than O2-lye separator and washer, heat exchanger) are of 321 SS stainless steel material, to ensure the vessel to fit for the water electrolysis (KOH solution as electrolyte with high operating pressure (1.5MPa (g) and operating temperature 90 deg.C; ), The material for O2-lye separator, O2 washer and O2-lye heat exchanger are of composite steel material with special design to prevent any corrosion happened on the hydrogen generation system;
