M009A Taber Wear and Abrasion Tester
Overview
To determine the wear resistance(including mass loss, thickness loss, and transmittance etc.) of all kinds of structures including textiles, paper, glass, metals, paints, plated surfaces, coated materials, leather and rubber.
Test Principle
Wear sample via a couple of abrasive wheels with adding the specified load. Sample rotates and simultaneously drive abrasive wheels so as to wear test sample.
Test mode
Under the condition of controlling the pressure and wear motion, the sample is worn by rotating friction.The test sample placed on the platform is rotated on the sliding of the two friction wheels, rotating on the vertical axis.Wear resistance is estimated according to standard methods.
