Melamine Cyanurate(MCA) is a greasy white crystalline powder, and is an excellent nitrogen-based flame retardant, with characteristics of halogen-free, environmentally friendly and nano-modified. MCA is widely applied to polymer materials like nylon, polyester, rubber and epoxy resin, especially appropriate for non-reinforced nylon (including PA6, PA66). Compared with the MCA produced by the traditional process, the new MCA has better dispersibility and more excellent flame retardancy. What’s more, it has brilliant material mechanics properties and processability and has excellent self-lubricating property, which complies with the ROHS directive and the REACH directive.

Application
Flame retardant MCA
It is mainly used for compounding resin and rubber, acting as halogen-free flame retardant for plastic products, acting as solid lubricant additives in lubricant and grease, acting as flame retardant and extinction additives in fire retardant coating and acting as lubricant in cosmetics. MCA is especially suitable for unfilled PA6 and PA66, its flame retardant performance is very good.
