· DWDM Mux Demux is usually used for long-haul transmission where wavelengths are packed tightly together over the C-band, up to 48 wavelengths in 100GHz grid(0.8nm) and 96 wavelengths in 50GHz grid(0.4nm). It is protocol transparent and suits applications including 10/1G Ethernet, SDH/SONET, 16/8/4/2/1G Fibre Channel, FTTx and CATV.
· The 8ch DWDM MUX DEMUX is designed by RBWDM with wavelengths from C53 to C60 (1535.04nm~1529.55nm), however, we also support other bands; it maximizes the capacity of C-band according to ITU-T G.694.1 100GHZ grid.
· The 8ch DWDM MUX DEMUX is a completely passive LGX box module device that can be plugged into a 1U 4-slot rack; the product insertion loss is: (wavelength port <2.4dB; line loss <3.2dB), connected with DWDM amplifier and DCM equipment, the 8ch DWDM transmission system can support long distance transmission.

Hybrid DWDM over CWDM Network
CWDM has a wavelength range of 1260-1625 nm and a channel spacing of 20 nm, which covers virtually all of the DWDM wavelength range (1470-1625 nm). And the channel space of DWDM wavelength is much smaller (0.8nm). Therefore, CWDM wavelengths close to DWDM wavelengths can be used to transmit DWDM wavelengths.
