JC Metallic Color Pigments are special effect pigments composed of mica nano-particles coated with various organic and inorganic pigments to create pearlescent and iridescent effects that mimic the natural look of stone and rock formations. These unique pigments are designed to be field blended with our100% solids clear Epoxy Middle Coat. When the metallic particles are mixed with epoxy they give the coating a shine that reflects light and creates eye-catching dramatic effects.

These coatings create a glossy and deep looking floor with a variety of different colors and visual effects. As beautiful and stunning as these floors look, they are considered a high performance floor coating that is designed to last for years. For the first coat our waterbased epoxy primer needs to be installed. We recommend applying a tinted primer and find that black makes the metallic colors pop. The second coat involves the actual Designer Metallic Epoxy coat, followed by a third coat of clear epoxy on top.
