When you choose the rims type, you should be consider about the size, terrain, resistance, tires cost and practicability.About the practicability, compare with tubular and clincher,a piece of glass, steel wire, screw or some other sharp goods, you must be replace a new tubular tires for your wheels, tubular tire is expensive, may be out of your budget in daily training. But clincher tires replace the inner tube is enough, quicker and cheaper. This is why we prefer using the 700C carbon clincher rims.
WA50C still keeping the asymmetric design from our ''WA series'',the reason why we keep the offset deisgn,it is solve the bracing angle of the disc wheel and balancing the spoke tension between the drive-side spokes and the non-drive-side spokes, please see the below picture:
More information about the difference between symmetric and asymmetric carbon rims, please browser our tech blog.
If you want to upgrade your road bike wheels to asymmetric design, suggest front in symmetric, and asymmetric design for rear wheels, because road bike front hub without drive side or no-drive side, main in radial pattern, symmetric keep the balance. So some of our fans choose front WU50C and rear WA50C for them wheels. What do you think?
